Florida Panthers Radio Have Qualifier Series

     The Florida Panthers Radio Network will be broadcasting the Stanley Cup Playoff Qualifier Series between the Panthers and New York Islanders. South Florida Sports Coverage broke this story back on July 15. The series will begin with Game 1 on August 1 in Toronto. 

     Panthers play-by-play announcer Doug Plagens and game analyst Bill Lindsay will announce the series from the BB&T Center in Sunrise. Alex Donno will work as the studio host on the broadcasts. 

     560 The Joe WQAM-AM is the radio flagship station for the team and will have all the contests. Fox Sports 640 South Florida WMEN-AM will get Game 2 and Game 3 while their sister station 850 WFTL-AM will broadcast Game 1 of the series.
