Inter Miami CF Ends Tournament Lose To NYCFC

Inter Miami CF was defeated by New York City FC 1-0 on Monday at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista. The club has lost their first five games in their franchise history which is a new Major League Soccer record.
It was the final game for Inter Miami CF in the MLS Tournament as they were eliminated. They collected no points with three losses in Group A and will play contests after the MLS Tournament is completed in August.
There would be no scoring in the first half and it changed when New York City FC pulled ahead 1-0 in the 64th minute. Forward Ismael Tajouri-Shradi received a lead lob pass all by himself in the middle of field from 24 yards out. He tapped it once and then lined a right-footed shot from 15 yards away into the low left corner of the cage.
