Pat Venditte Signs With Marlins Again

     Pat Venditte has signed again with the Miami Marlins for the second time in less than a year. He agreed to a minor league deal with the club. He did participate with the team during spring training in Jupiter and signed back on January 6. 

     Venditte is known throughout baseball as the only pitcher that can throw right-handed and left-handed. A rule was instituted by Major League Baseball because of him. He has to state to the home plate umpire which arm he will pitch to each batter. 

     He has pitched in the majors for four seasons. Venditte had stints with the Oakland A's Toronto Blue Jays, Seattle Mariners, Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants.
