NHL To Play In Olympics Again

The National Hockey League Board of Governors and the National Hockey League Players Association both came together on a four-year extension of the collective bargaining agreement. Part of the deal will allow NHL players to participate at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China and the 2026 Winter Olympics in both Milan and Cortina, Italy.
The National Hockey League players were not involved during the 2018 Olympics. They did play in the Winter Olympics on five different occasions from 1998 to 2014. Canada captured the goal medal in 2002, 2010 and 2014. Czech Republic won the top prize in 1998 while Sweden took it in 2006.
