They will play three contests against teams in Group A. Inter Miami CF faces Orlando City SC on July 8, Chicago Fire FC on July 14 and Philadelphia Union on July 19. All three games will be televised nationally on ESPN or FS1.
Inter Miami CF would make the group-of-16 round automatically if the finish in the top three of Group A. They would need a higher point total if they ended up in fourth place compared to the other teams in third place among the other five other groups for the three remaining spots.
