Miami Marlins Sign Logan Forsythe

The Miami Marlins have signed second baseman Logan Forsythe to a deal. It was a decision made because another member of the roster has tested positive for the coronavirus to make it 16 players and two coaches so far.
He was in the Philadelphia Phillies summer training camp for the upcoming 2020 regular season and was notified that he would not make the opening day roster.
Forsythe has played nine seasons in the majors. He had stints with the San Diego Padres, Tampa Bay Rays. Los Angeles Dodgers, Minnesota Twins and Texas Rangers. He helped the Dodgers win the National League championship in 2017.
