Florida Panthers On National Radio

Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Florida Panthers and the Carolina Hurricanes was broadcast nationally on radio last night on Sports USA. Seattle Kraken television voice John Forslund was the play-by-play announcer, Los Angeles Kings television game analyst Jim Fox was the game analyst and Boston Bruins television studio analyst Billy Jaffe was the rinkside reporter. Sports USA will broadcast all games in the Eastern Conference Finals and the Stanley Cup Final this year.
It was the first time that a Panthers home playoff game at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise was aired nationally on terrestrial radio. The 2023 NHL All-Star Game at the same venue was broadcast by SiriusXM Radio.
The Panthers had five postseason contests previously on Sports USA before Monday night. Two of the broadcasts were from Amalie Arena in Tampa. Florida faced the Tampa Bay Lightning in Game 4 of the 2021 Eastern Conference Quarterfinals at Amalie Arena in Tampa and Game 3 of the 2022 Eastern Conference Semifinals.
Florida has been on several times during the 2023 Stanley Cup Playoffs on national terrestrial radio. Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Florida Panthers and the Boston Bruins at TD Garden in Boston was broadcast by Sports USA on April 19. The first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals with the Panthers and Hurricanes from PNC Arena in Raleigh were aired several days ago.
