Jake Marisnick Dealt To Tigers

Former Miami Marlins outfielder Jake Marisnick has been traded by the Chicago White Sox to the Detroit Tigers for cash considerations. He played in only nine contests this year with the White Sox and had just two plate appearances.
Marisnick was with the Miami Marlins in his first two Major League Baseball seasons in 2013 and 2014. He compiled one home run, five runs batted in and a .178 batting average in 54 games during his tenure in Miami.
He was dealt to the Houston Astros on July 31, 2014. Marisnick helped them capture the 2017 World Series and win American League championships in 2017 and 2019.
