The Miami Dolphins did not exercise the fifth-year option on several players. They are tackle Austin Jackson and cornerback Noah Igbinoghene. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa received his fifth-year option by the club a back in March.
Jackson and Igbinoghene were selected in the first round of the 2020 National Football League Draft along with Tagovailoa. Jackson was taken 18th overall while Igbinoghene was chosen 30th overall.
Igbinoghene has also participated in 32 contests with the Fins. He was involved in nine games last season and collected his first career interception. Jackson has played in 32 games with the Dolpihns, which included just two contests in 2022.
