Nationals Shut Out Marlins

Stephen Strasburg pitched six scoreless innings and allowed six hits as the Washington Nationals defeated the Miami Marlins 4-0 on Sunday at Marlins Park. He picked up his tenth win of the season as he struck out seven Marlins. Ricky Nolasco(8-7) took the loss for the Fish as he went 5 1/3 innings and gave up four runs on six hits. Both teams finish the four-game wraparound series on Monday night.
The Nationals first got to Nolasco with two runs in the fifth inning. The Nats had men on first and second with two out when Strasburg got an RBI-single to right field as Danny Espinosa scored. Steve Lombardozzi followed with a single to right and brought in Jhonaton Solano.
Washington added two runs in a none-out rally in the sixth inning. Ryan Zimmerman led off with a single to left field and advanced to second on a single to right field by Adam LaRoche. Michael Morse knocked in Zimmerman with a single to center field. Espinosa then hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score LaRoche.
