Marlins Shut Out Giants

     The Miami Marlins blanked the San Francisco Giants 5-0 on Saturday night at AT&T Park. The Fish have won three of their last four games and finish an 11-game road trip on Sunday. The Giants have lost three of the their last five.
     Miami(23-21) got a two-out rally during the second inning against Tim Lincecum. Jarrod Saltalamacchia and Marcell Ozuna walked then Saltalamacchia scored on a base hit by Adeiny Hechavarria to right field.
     In the sixth inning, the Marlins extended their lead to 3-0. Casey McGehee led off with a double to deep center field and scored on a Garrett Jones triple to the center-field fence. Jones would then cross the plate on a sacrifice fly to left by Saltalamacchia.
     With David Huff pitching for San Francisco(27-17) in the top of the seventh, Giancarlo Stanton smashed a solo home run on a 0-1 pitch to center field with two out for his 12th homer of the season.
     The Fish capped the shutout in the ninth inning. Hechavarria reached second on an error by right fielder Hunter Pence and was driven in by pinch-hitter Jeff Baker on a base hit to left-center field.
     Tom Koehler pitched seven innings of shutout ball as he allowed four hits and struck out seven to move his record to 4-3. Lincecum dropped to 3-3 as he gave up three runs on seven hits in six innings and struck out six.
