The Miami Marlins have sent pitcher Colin Rea back to the San Diego Padres. He was part of a seven-player trade between both teams on Friday.
Rea made his first start with the Fish on Saturday night and left the game in the fourth inning due to an elbow injury. Minor league pitcher Luis Castillo, who was also involved in the recent deal, will return to the Marlins.
