790 The Ticket WAXY-AM has hired former University of Miami Hurricanes and NFL linebacker DJ Williams as a roving talk co-host. He helped the Hurricanes win their fifth national championship in 2001. He played with Denver Broncos from 2004 to 2012 and the Chicago Bears from 2013 to 2014 during his NFL career.
Williams will appear Mondays on the afternoon show with Ethan J. Skolnick and Chris Wittyngham, Tuesdays on the morning show with Jonathan Zaslow, Brett Romberg and Amber Wilson, and Wednesdays in the early afternoon with The Beast and Leroy Hoard. He will also co-host the midday show on Sundays during the NFL season.
