The Miami Marlins were held off the scoreboard as they were blanked by the San Diego Padres 1-0 at Marlins Park on Saturday night. Miami(67-62) have been shut out twice in their last five games.
San Diego(54-75) got the only run of the game during the fourth inning. Ryan Schimpf smashed a two-out solo home run to right field against Jose Urena on a 3-2 pitch for his 16th homer of the season.
