For the seventh straight month, 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM was the top sports talk radio station in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale region. This period has always been known for being the slowest period in South Florida for sports in the entire year.
The Ticket stayed consistent as they had a 1.1 for the third consecutive month. They maintained their lead over the other two competitors in the market.
Miami Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM had their momentum stopped after progress over the previous two months as they dropped from a 1.0 to a 0.9 in July. The University of Miami Hurricanes baseball team made a quick exit in the College World Series.
Miami Sports 940 WINZ-AM fell to a 0.2 in July following three consecutive months with a 0.3. The station continues to move along with loads of syndicated programming.
