Timberwolves Surprise Heat

     The Minnesota Timberwolves slipped by the Miami Heat 129-126 at American Airlines Arena on Wednesday night. Miami has won two of their last nine games. The Heat stayed in fourth place among clubs in the Eastern Conference while the Timberwolves jumped up to fifth worst record in the National Basketball Association. 
     Minnesota(17-41) got out to a 29-28 lead after the first quarter and trailed 60-57 at halftime. Miami(36-22) was barely behind 85-84 at the end of three quarters. They began the fourth quarter on a 23-12 spurt, however the Timberwolves went on a 22-9 run down the stretch to gain the victory.
     Kendrick Nunn knocked down 24 points to lead the Heat while Jimmy Butler added 18 points. Bam Adebayo compiled a double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. D'Angelo Russell had a game-high 27 points for Minnesota.
