Former Miami Marlins third baseman Martin Prado has officially retired. Prado finished off a 14-year career in the majors where he played for the Atlanta Braves, Arizona Diamondbacks, New York Yankees and Miami Marlins.
He was with the Marlins in his final five seasons of his Major League Baseball career. His best season with the Fish was in 2016 when he had a .305 batting average, eight home runs and 75 runs batted in during 153 games. Prado played 104 games in 2019 and compiled two homers, 15 runs batted in and a .233 batting average.
