Street & Smith's annual baseball magazine did not have any player from the Miami Marlins on their front cover. It was an unusual move decided by that publication. The southeast region cover has Ronald Acuna Jr. and Ozzie Albies of the Atlanta Braves along with Austin Meadows of the Tampa Bay Rays.
Some Marlins players did appear on other baseball magazines that were issued in late January. Pitcher Sandy Alacantara appeared on Athlon Sports while third baseman/outfielder Brian Anderson showed up on Lindy's Sports.
