Braves Drill Marlins

The Atlanta Braves pounded the Miami Marlins 29-9 at Truist Park on Wednesday night. The Marlins were unable to sweep the three-game series from the Braves.
Miami(19-19) moved out to a 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Jorge Alfaro knocked in Garrett Cooper on a base hit to left. Jazz Chisholm came up next and tripled to deep center which scored Alfaro.
Atlanta(25-18) rumbled through in the bottom of the third with 11 runs to take a commanding lead. They got nine of those runs with two outs during the inning. It was capped by several round-trippers by the Braves. Travis d'Arnaud smashed a three-run homer to left-center field, Adam Duvall ripped a two-run homer to center field and Ozzie Albies connected on a home run to center.
