The Miami Marlins were victorious over the Philadelphia Phillies 5-3 on Friday night at Marlins Park. It was the second game of a doubleheader between both teams. The Marlins and Phillies have now played three games out of their seven-game series that will last five days.
Miami(21-20) was able to get three runs during the fourth inning against Philadelphia(22-20) to take a 4-1 lead. Isan Diaz, who returned in the first game of the doubleheader after opting out earlier this season, helped the Marlins with a base hit to left field which scored Brian Anderson.
