Phillies Stomp Marlins

The Philadelphia Phillies bashed the Miami Marlins 11-0 in a seven-inning contest at Marlins Park on Friday. It was the first game of a doubleheader between both clubs.
Philadelphia(22-19) compiled four runs in the third inning. Andrew McCutchen smacked a two-run homer to left field on the first pitch with Adam Haseley aboard. Jean Segura later doubled to left which scored Rhys Hoskins and J.T. Realmuto.
Miami(20-20) gave up another five runs in the top of the fourth and trailed 9-0. Haseley singled through the right side and Phil Gosselin reached home. McCutchen came up next and got a base hit into left-center field to score Alec Bohm. Hoskins then lifted a three-run homer over the left-field fence on a 1-2 count which brought in Haseley and McCuthen for a 9-0 lead.
The Phillies added two more runs in the fifth inning for an 11-run margin. Bohm lined a double down the left-field line that scored Didi Gregourius. Haseley followed with a double down the right-field line to score Bohm.
