Marlins Move By Braves

The Miami Marlins beat the Atlanta Braves 4-2 at Truist Park on Thursday night. A rain delay prevented the start of the contest for one hour and 39 minutes. The Marlins snapped a four-game losing streak with the victory and avoided a four-game sweep by the Braves.
Miami(29-28) broke the scoreless tie during the sixth inning. Chad Wallach singled to right field to score Brian Anderson. Jon Berti then doubled to left field which brought in Garrett Cooper and Wallach for a 3-0 lead.
The Marlins expanded their lead to 4-0 in the top of the seventh. Jesus Aguilar blasted a solo home run to center field on a 1-2 pitch
Atlanta(34-23) had the bases loaded during the bottom of the eighth. Dansby Swanson got a base hit through the hole on the left side for Marcell Ozuna and Travis d'Arnaud to cross the plate.
