Le Batard left ESPN and terrestrial radio in early January 2021. He and John Skipper launched Meadowlark Media in late January 2021.
The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz had previously appeared in another category of nationally syndicated sports radio shows list since the inception of BSM in 2016. They finished fourth in 2016, third in 2017, third in 2018, third in 2019 and fourth in 2020.
Le Batard started his radio program in the afternoon shift at Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM in August 2004. He was added by ESPN for syndication in September 2013 and was later shifted to middays. His show was moved from The Ticket to 560 WQAM-AM in August 2019. The show went off the radio airwaves locally and nationally in January 2021.
