Heat Climb Over Bulls

     The two top teams in the Eastern Conference met at FTX Arena on Monday night and the Miami Heat beat the Chicago Bulls 112-99. The Heat began a stretch of playing four games in five days. They now lead the Bulls by two games for the best record in the Eastern Conference. 
     Miami(41-21) sprinted out to a 24-11 run to begin the contest and led 30-21 after one quarter. Chicago(39-23) had a 14-2 spurt midway through the second quarter and trailed 55-46 at halftime. The Heat outscored the Bulls 36-21 in the third quarter to go up 91-67.
     Gabe Vincent pumped in 20 points while Tyler Herro dropped in 20 points for Miami. Jimmy Butler added 15 points and Bam Adebayo had 15 points. 
     Zach LaVine led the Bulls with a game-high 22 points. DeMar DeRozan, who was held below 30 points for the first time in 11 games, scored 18 points.
