The Miami Dolphins have been forming their coaching staff for the upcoming 2022 regular season. They named Mike McDaniel as their new head coach last week.
Josh Boyer has been retained as defensive coordinator. Eric Studesville has been shifted from co-offensive coordinator and running backs coach. Danny Crossman remains as the Dolphins special teams coach. Former Miami Dolphins Wes Welker was added to the Dolphins coaching staff as a wide receivers coach.
Outside linebackers coach Rob Leonard is no longer with the Fins and has joined the New York Giants for the same position. George Gosby was the Miami co-offensive coordinator in 2021 and now is with the Baltimore Ravens as their tight ends coach.
