Heat Edge Spurs

     The Miami Heat were victorious over the San Antonio Spurs 133-129 at FTX Arena on Saturday night. The Heat remain on top in the Eastern Conference standings. 
     San Antonio(34-37) ripped out to a 40-26 lead after one quarter. Miami(40-21) roared back and took a 61-58 lead by halftime. The Heat scored the first seven points of the second half and had a double-digit lead. The Spurs bounced back and closed it to 99-97 at the end of the third quarter. Miami got on a 20-5 run to begin the fourth quarter and were up 119-102 with 8:19 left in the contest. 
     The Heat were led by Bam Adebayo as he powered in a game-high 36 points with seven rebounds. Tyler Herro and Jimmy Butler both added 27 points each for Miami. Kyle Lowry pulled off a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists. Keita Bates-Diop and Devin Vassell both had 22 points each for the Spurs.
