Some former South Florida on-air talent made the Barrett Sports Media national sports radio show list in 2021. Dan Le Batard and Stugotz did not make the list after six consecutive years They had appeared among the top four national radio programs in the last five years.
Several former local sports talk hosts did show on the list. Joy Taylor appeared alongside The Herd With Colin Cowherd as the top national show for the second straight year. Taylor, who did at one time work at 560 WQAM-AM and Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM, continues as a Saturday afternoon host at Fox Sports Radio.
Ex WQAM evening host Damon Amendolara ended up in eighth place with his CBS Sports Radio Network morning show. Amendolara went up the list again after finishing 12th in 2019 and 10th in 2020.
Evan Cohen along with The Morning Men morning program on Mad Dog Radio at SiriusXM Radio landed at 16th place. The program was placed in 19th in 2019 and 13th in 2020. Cohen completed a long stint as the afternoon host at ESPN West Palm 106.3 WUUB-FM in December 2021. He began to announce five-minute sports commentaries at the start of 2021 for the radio station.
