Heat Trick WIzards

     The Miami Heat pulled off a 121-100 victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday night at Capital One Arena. The Heat will complete their six-game road swing at the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday night. The Wizards lost their sixth straight home game. 
     Miami(35-20) rocketed out to a 39-24 lead at the end of the first quarter. Washington(24-29) went on an 18-4 run and trailed 50-44 with 3:58 left in the second quarter. The Heat still stayed ahead 60-53 by halftime. 
     The Heat scored the first eight points of the second half and led 68-53 with 9:51 remaining in the third. They had a 15-1 spurt in the final three minutes and held a 91-70 lead at the end of three quarters. Miami started the fourth quarter on a 22-8 run and had a 35-point margin at 113-78 with 7:57 to go in the final frame. 
     Bam Adebayo led the Heat with a game-high 21 points and seven rebounds. Jimmy Butler dropped in 19 points while Gabe Vincent added 16 points and eight assists. Caleb Martin poured in 15 points and Duncan Robinson knocked down 12 points.
