Celtics Stop Heat

     The Boston Celtics pressed by the Miami Heat 129-116 on Friday night at TD Garden. The Heat have lost six of their last seven games. They will concluded a three-game road swing against the New York Knicks on Sunday. 

     Boston(16-11) had a slim 30-29 lead at the end of the first quarter. Both teams were tied 58-58 at halftime.

     The Celtics were able to move ahead 92-89 by the conclusion of the third quarter. Miami(15-13) fell behind by double digits as the C's went on a 18-7 spurt to begin the fourth quarter. 

     Kel'el Ware led the Heat with a double-double of 24 points and 14 rebounds. Norman Powell drained in 18 points while Kasparas Jakucionis  had 17 points. Bam Adebayo put up 16 points and 10 rebounds for a double-double. Jaime Jaquez Jr. was able to pump in 14 points in the defeat. 

     Derrick White collected a game-high 33 points for the Celtics. Jaylen Brown finished with 30 points and nine rebounds.
