It was early national signing day on Wednesday for high school football players in Broward County. The region saw plenty of players that will go to the next level.
Chaminade-Madonna had a bunch of players who have won three state titles. They consisted of Derrek Cooper(Texas), Denalrius Gray(Kentucky), Jasen Lopez(Florida State), Bryant Julius(Appalachian State), Leonazay Merzlus(Western Kentucky), Noah Sidan(FIU), R.J. Alphonse(Eastern Michigan) and Ekeem Atehotua(Alabama State),
St. Thomas Aquinas had their share of players with three state championships who signed. They included Brady Palmer(Temple), Justice Fitzpatrick(Georgia), Daniel Norman(Oklahoma), Jermiyah Douglas(Western Carolina), Phillip Goodrich(Army) and Christien Moreau(Middle Tennessee State).
American Heritage had several of their players decide. They were Dia Bell(Texas), Brandon Bennett(Florida State), Col Jean-Noel(Georgia Tech), Kymani Morales(Georgia Tech), Jamar Denson(Troy), Justin Cassini(Rochester), Tre Nichols(South Florida), Cory Simon(Eastern Michigan), Issac Tanis(Western Kentucky) and Theodore Welch(Rhode Island).
Other players included from Cardinal Gibbons Gary Hadley Jr.(Tulane), Somerset Academy Kaj Baker(Central Florida), Cypress Bay Ben Gula(Colorado), Flanagan Michael Smarts(FIU) and West Broward Alejandro Schmitt(FAU).
