Chaminade-Madonna Crushes Trinity Christian Academy

     The Chaminade-Madonna Lions dominated the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors 35-0 in the FHSAA Class 1A state semifinals on Friday night at Vince Zappone Field in Hollywood. It was rematch from last year between both two high schools in the same round with the same result. 
     The Lions reached the state championship game for the 10th consecutive season. They will attempt to win their fifth straight state title, their eighth state crown in the last nine seasons and their 10th overall state championship next week in Miami. 
     Chaminade-Madonna(11-2) broke out to a 7-0 lead midway through the first quarter. They were able to score on a touchdown pass. 
      The Lions expanded their lead to 14-0 with two minutes remaining in the second quarter. They scored on another touchdown pass.
     Trinity Christian Academy(9-5) would find themselves down 21-0 with two minutes left in the third quarter. The Lions reached the end zone on a touchdown run.
     Chaminade-Madonna extended their lead to 35-0 during the final quarter. They scored touchdown runs at the seven-minute mark and the four-minute mark.
