Former local sports host Dino Costa had his show moved this week at Sirius XM Radio. He did his final evening show on Mad Dog Radio Tuesday night and will become the morning host at the new channel Sports Zone as of September 5. Costa joined Sirius XM Radio back in January 2010.
After spending several years as a sports host at KLZ-AM in Denver until January 2003, he worked as an afternoon host at WNNR-AM in Jacksonville from June 2003 until February 2004. Costa landed at 1400 The Fan WFLL-AM in Fort Lauderdale when the station launched into a new sports format in April 2004. He was the afternoon host there until July 2004 when he was fired because he would not accept Bruce Warner as a new co-host to his show.
Costa returned to Colorado and worked as a midday host at KCRN-AM from May 2005 until August 2008. He added duties as a studio sports host on Fox Sports Net Rocky Mountain. He then founded DenverSportsRadio.com where he was also the program director/talk host and later became the founder of DinoCosta365.com.
