The Boynton Beach Tigers defeated the Palm Beach Lakes 6-0 in a two-quarter contest at Dick Melear Stadium on Friday night. It was the fourth and final game of the Palm Beach Lakes Jamboree. The Miami Central Rockets and Deerfield Beach Bucks were two South Florida powerhouse programs that also participated on the gridiron earlier in the night.
There was no scoring until the second quarter. Boynton Beach got the only points of the game on a one-yard touchdown run toward the right sideline by their quarterback.
