Braves Sink Marlins

     The Miami Marlins dropped an 8-4 loss to the Atlanta Braves on Friday night at Marlins Park. The Fish have fell in seven of their last eight games and 13 of the last 16.
     Atlanta(12-20) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the second inning. Tyler Flowers nailed a two-run homer to left field that also scored Matt Kemp.
     Miami(13-21) closed the gap to 2-1 in the bottom of the fourth. Justin Bour blasted a solo home run on a 2-1 pitch to right field.
     The Braves batted around and compiled six runs during the seventh inning to put the game away. Tony Phillips began the onslaught as he singled into center field to score Tyler Flowers and Dansby Swanson.
     The Marlins got several home runs late in the contest. J.T. Realmuto connected with a two-run shot to left on the first pitch in the bottom of the seventh with Derek Dietrich on base. Dietrich hit a solo homer to center in the ninth inning on a 0-1 count.
