Former Miami Dolphins executive Mike Dee has joined Entercom Communications as the president of Entercom Sports. Entercom will soon merge with CBS Radio on the approval of the United States government.
Dee was once the Boston Red Sox CEO, under owner John Henry, before he arrived in South Florida. He was named the president and CEO of the Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium. Dee left to become the president and COO of the San Diego Padres.
The impact of Dee in broadcasting has been noticed locally. He created The Finsiders show which was simulcast on Fox Sports Florida and 940 WINZ. He hired Jesse Agler as the studio host of the program and later made Agler an internet studio host and radio play-by-play announcer for the Padres.
