Blue Jays Sweep Marlins

The Miami Marlins lost to the Toronto Blue Jays 3-1 on Wednesday night at loanDepot park and were swept in the two-game series. The Fish have fallen in seven of their last nine games.
Toronto(37-35) rocketed up to a 2-0 lead in the first inning. Teoscar Hernnadez knocked in Bo Bichette on a double to right field. George Springer came up next and grounded out to first for Vladimir Guerrero Jr. to score.
It became a three-run margin for the Blue Jays during the top of the fifth. Bichette singled into left field and Marcus Semien crossed the plate.
Miami(31-42) got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the sixth. Startling Marte belted a solo home run to left-center field on a 2-1 pitch. It was the sixth homer for Marte this season.
