Nationals Down Marlins

The Washington Nationals dropped the Miami Marlins 5-1 at loanDepot park on Sunday. Both clubs ended up splitting the four-game series.
Washington(37-38) had a 1-0 lead in the top of the first. Josh Harrison drove in Kyle Schwarber on a base hit through the left side.
Miami(33-44) was able to tie it 1-1 in the bottom of the frame. Jesus Aguilar doubled into the left-field corner and Jazz Chisholm Jr. raced home.
In the fifth inning, the Nationals compiled four runs with none out. Trea Turner, a Park Vista High School grad, cracked a two-run homer to right-center field on a 0-1 count with Schwarber on base. It was the 12th home run of the season for Turner. Two batters later, Josh Bell smashed a two-run homer over the left-center field fence on a 1-1 pitch with Juan Soto aboard for his 11th home run of the year.
