Beasley Media Group Leaves South Florida

Beasley Media Group closed their $1.25 million deal to sell WWNN-AM in Boca Raton along with two FM translators to Marco Broadcasting. The transaction was announced back on February 3.
It results in Beasley Media Group exiting from the South Florida tri-county area after 26 years. Beasley still operates radio stations in the Southwest Florida region of Naples and Fort Myers.
Beasley Media Group entered the Miami area in 1996. The organization purchased Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM, Kiss Country 99.9 WKIS-FM and Power 96 WPOW-FM from Sunshine Wireless Company.
They acquired Boca Raton radio stations WSBR-AM, WWNN-AM and WHSR-AM in 2000. Beasley Media Group sold their three Miami radio signals to CBS Radio in October 2014. WHSR-AM was bought by HMDF, LLC in February 2021. Beasley gave the license of WSBR-AM to the Federal Communications Commission in April 2021.
