Kaiir Elam Drafted By Buffalo Bills

Former Palm Beach County high school football player Kaiir Elam was selected 23rd overall in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills on Thursday night in Las Vegas.
Elam played high school football with the Benjamin Buccaneers. He then attended the University of Florida and was with the Gators as a defensive back for three years.
The Elam family have roots in the National Football League. Kaiir's father Abram Elam went to Kent State and played seven seasons in the NFL. His uncle Matt Elam played high school football with the Dwyer Panthers and won a FHSAA Class 4A state championship in 2009.  He would attend the University of Florida for three years and later spent 2013 through 2016 in the National Football League with the Baltimore Ravens.
