Phillies Pound Marlins

The Philadelphia Phillies dominated the Miami Marlins 10-3 at loanDepot park on Saturday night. The Marlins two-game winning streak ended and they returned back to last place in the National League East. It was the Phillies first win on the road this season.
Philadelphia(4-5) was able to load the bases during the first inning. Alec Bohm hit a sacrifice fly to center field for Rhys Hoskins to score. Bryce Harper later scored from third on an attempted double steal to give them a 2-0 lead.
The Phillies added six more runs in the top of the second to go up 8-0. Matt Vierling doubled into center field and Didi Gregorius scored. Four batters later, Harper drove in Vierling and Hoskins on a double to right field. Bohm had an RBI-single into center field and Harper scored for a 6-0 lead. Johan Camargo followed with a double to right for Nick Castellanos and Bohm to reach home.
Miami(3-5) responded with two runs in the bottom of the fifth. Jorge Soler blasted his first home run in Marlins uniform on a 2-0 pitch to left field with Jon Berti aboard to make it 8-2.
It became 10-2 for Philadelphia in the sixth inning. Castellanos sliced a base hit into right field and J.T. Realmuto crossed the plate. Bohm came up next with a sacrifice fly to center field and Harper raced home.
The Marlins made it 10-3 in the bottom of the eighth. Avisail Garcia chalked up his first homer in a Miami jersey as he took a 0-1 pitch over the center-field wall.
