The Miami Heat creamed the Los Angeles Clippers 140-123 at Kaseya Center on Monday night. The Heat completed a four-game homestand.
Miami(14-7) broke out to a 35-24 advantage by the end of the first quarter. The Heat extended their lead and were up 76-56 at halftime.
Los Angeles(5-16) saw themselves fall behind more in the third quarter and trailed 114-82. Reserves were brought into the game during the final quarter to finish up the contest.
Norman Powell dropped in a club-high 30 points for the Heat. Bam Adebayo composed 27 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double. Tyler Herro and Andrew Wiggins both had 22 points each.
Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers with a game-high 36 points. Ivica Zubac got a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds. James Harden was held to 11 points in the loss.
