790 The Ticket WAXY-AM officially added an FM simulcast on Wednesday afternoon at 5 p.m. as Lincoln Financial Media flipped WMSF-FM 104.3 to a sports format. The station will be known as FM 104.3 The Ticket. 790 The Ticket just celebrated their eighth anniversary on the AM band earlier this week.
Due to contractual obligations and the current location of the transmitter site just south of Wellington in Palm Beach County, 104.3 The Ticket will not be able to broadcast Miami Marlins games for now. ESPN Radio 760 WEFL-AM owns the radio simulcast rights of the Miami Marlins broadcasts in Palm Beach County. The transmitter signal is expected to move to Miami Gardens in Dade County.
