940 The Sports Animal WINZ-AM increased their nighttime signal as of August 3, which was the first Miami Dolphins exhibition game of the preseason. They are the flagship station of the Miami Dolphins game broadcasts. The new nighttime signal now can be heard clearly throughout Palm Beach County.
Their previous signal would fade as it reached Sample Road in north Broward County. Palm Beach County residents were able to hear with some static WMAC-AM from Macon, Georgia. WINZ and their evening program the Jeff DeForest Show will benefit from its increased signal.
