The Miami Marlins were held scoreless for their second consecutive home game as they lost to the Philadelphia Phillies 4-0 Monday night at Marlins Park.  Cole Hamels improved his record to 13-6 as he pitched a complete game seven-hit shutout. Marlins starter Nathan Eovaldi(3-8) went five innings and allowed two earned runs on eight hits.
The Phillies took the eventual lead with two runs during the third inning. With one out, Jimmy Rollins singled to right and Juan Pierre singled to center field. Chase Utley drove Rollins in on a double into right field. Three batters later with John Mayberry Jr. at-bat and two out, Pierre scored on fielding error by Marlins third baseman Greg Dobbs.
Philadelphia added to their lead in the next inning with two outs. Pierre laced a triple into right field and Rollins came around to score from first.
Carlos Zambrano gave up the Phillies final run of the game in the seventh inning. Domonic Brown walked, Mayberry singled to center and Kevin Frandsen singled to right to load the bases with one out. Brown scored on a Erik Kratz sacrifice fly to center field.
