WTVJ-TV Channel 6 has hired Courtney Fallon as their new sportscaster at the station. She was a weekend sports anchor and sports reporter at WLNE-TV in Providence, Rhode Island. She joins Joe Rose and Kristina Pink as on-air talent in the sports department. WTVJ fills in the spot that Adam Kuperstein vacated when he became the weekday evening news co-anchor earlier this year.
Fallon, a University of Maryland grad, was a sports anchor at Sports Radio 98.5 WBZ-FM and a news writer at WHDH-TV in Boston. She was also an intern at ESPN Radio and at Sirius XM Radio on the NFL channel.
