Chris Kokell Adds NFL Show

640 The Hurricane WMEN-AM will add an NFL show hosted by Chris Kokell. The one-hour program will be on Sunday at noon. He will broadcast his first show on location at Renegades in West Palm Beach.
Kokell joined 640 The Hurricane in June as a high school website reporter. He added duties as a Saturday late morning host in August. Kokell is currently a defensive coordinator for the Jensen Beach Falcons football team.
He once was a head football coach for the Forest Hill Falcons and Olympic Heights Lions. He was a television game analyst for Friday night football games on CW 34 WTVX-TV in West Palm Beach during the 2014 alongside play-by-play announcer Alex Kushel.
Kokell was a weekend co-host on ESPN West Palm 106.3 WUUB-FM for a couple of years during the mid 2010s. He was elevated to the evening co-host spot with Joe Colella in January 2017 and held the position until the summer before returning to coaching Jensen Beach. Kokell did announce the FHSAA Class 3A state championship playoff game in Orlando as a game analyst along with Florida Atlantic University play-by-play announcer Ken LaVicka on ESPN West Palm.
