The Miami Dolphins eased by the New York Jets 13-6 on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium. The Fins broke a two-game losing streak.
Both teams scored in the second quarter. The Dolphins got Jason Sanders to kick a 43-yard field goal at 12:44 and a 27-yard field goal at 1:14. Jets kicker Jason Myers booted a 48-yard field goal with 25 seconds left in the second.
Miami(5-4) got the only touchdown of the contest with 10:56 remaining in the fourth quarter. New York(3-6) quarterback Sam Darnold threw an interception and it was returned 25 yards to the end zone by Jerome Baker and made it 13-6. Myers connected with a 56-yard field goal for the Jets with 6:03 to go.
