Hubbard Radio has finalized their deal to acquire 640 The Hurricane WMEN-AM and along with five other West Palm Beach radio stations from Alpha Media. An agreement had been made by both organizations in late September. 640 The Hurricane has been operated by Alpha Media since February 2016.
WMEN was flipped to a sports talk format by James Crystal Enterprises in March 2008. Atalaya Capital Management headed by Mark Jorgenson purchased the radio station in an auction in April 2015.
