Berean Christian commanded the remainder of the first half. Running back David Rimes raced down the right hash marks from 27 yards away at the 5:30 mark to give them a 7-6 lead. He added a five-yard touchdown around the right side with 11:05 left in the second quarter.
Bulldogs backup quarterback Julian Knickerbocker scrambled down the left sideline 31 yards to the Cougars two-yard line on the final play in the third quarter. Two plays later, he tossed a two-yard swing pass to the right and running back Christopher Shipley walked into the end zone at 11:35 of the fourth and extended their lead to 21-6.

A bad snap went over the head of their quarterback and deep into their own end zone. It was recovered by running back Jahir Antoine on the ground, Cougars defensive end John Oldano made a two-hand touch for the safety with no time remaining and Somerset Academy Canyons pulled off a 22-21 shocking victory.
