Former Marlins outfielder Curtis Granderson retired from Major League Baseball on Friday. He finished off a 16-year MLB career.
Granderson played his final season in the majors with the Miami Marlins in 2019. He had 12 home runs, 34 runs batted in and a .183 batting average in 138 games last year.
He helped the New York Mets in 2015 and the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2017 capture National League champions. Granderson contributed for the Detroit Tigers to win the 2006 American League championship and the New York Yankees to get several American League East titles.
